Jaime Northam oversees all of the leasing across HTA’s Western US portfolio, which encompasses approximately eight million square feet across 20 markets. Leading a team of several experienced leasing professionals, her focus is to strategically drive occupancy, growth and retention across the portfolio, while developing key relationships in each market. Mrs. Northam has been with HTA for more than five years and has nearly 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Her background in the industry also includes brokerage, development, asset management and economic development. Mrs. Northam is an Arizona native. She has been an active member of the Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation Board since 2013, which has included involvement on various board committees and several charitable events benefitting St. Joseph’s Hospital and Barrow’s Neurological Institute. Mrs. Northam holds a B.A. in Communications from University of Arizona.

Melinda Alford is a Senior Leasing Associate for Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. (“HTA”) and the Texas Designated Broker for Healthcare Management of America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of HTA. Ms. Alford oversees leasing for 1.4 million square feet of medical office buildings in Dallas, Austin, Bryan and San Antonio. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and has her CCIM designation.
Paul Andrews is the Leasing Manager for Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. (“HTA”). Mr. Andrews is responsible for overseeing the leasing of over half a million square feet of medical office buildings in HTA’s California portfolio.
Paul’s previous positions over the last 23 years within the commercial real estate industry include Senior Vice President at Cresa Global, Director of Tenant Representation at Cushman & Wakefield, Senior Vice President at Colliers International and Vice President at Coldwell Banker - West Bay Commercial. During this tenure within commercial real estate consultancy, he assisted numerous clients ranging from publicly traded companies to non-profit entities as well as institutional owners. Mr. Andrews has sold and leased numerous real estate asset classes such as Office, Industrial, R&D, Retail, Multi-family properties and Ranch Land.
Paul has also has contributed content for and has been quoted by numerous real estate publications such as the Phoenix, San Francisco and San Jose Business Journals, CoStar Group and the Arizona School of Real Estate.
Mr. Andrews earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics with an emphasis in Real Estate and Land Use from Sacramento State University.
Nikki Briggs is a Leasing Associate for Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. (“HTA”). Nikki is responsible for overseeing our Colorado, Utah and Oklahoma Medical Offices. Nikki’s concentration in these markets is maintaining and expanding our focal relationships within the community. She is also responsible for generating new tenant opportunities and sustaining our existing tenant’s satisfaction. Nikki earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at University of Arizona. After which, Nikki traveled the world as a flight attendant which ultimately reinforced her passion for procuring meaningful relationships in her personal and professional life.

Jason Cheek is a Senior Leasing Associate for Healthcare Trust of America Inc.’s Dallas and Houston markets. As a Dallas native, Jason has resided in the DFW metroplex for the majority of his life. He began his career in healthcare real estate while working with Tenet Healthcare in their corporate office working directly with the Director of Real Estate and Development as a Senior Analyst. Joining HTA in 2017 Jason has worked both the Houston and Dallas markets handling all the new leasing and existing leasing efforts. Mr. Cheek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus on Real Estate from the University of North Texas.
Bettina Hunt is the Leasing Manager for Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. (“HTA”) and the Designated Broker for Healthcare Management of America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of HTA. Mrs. Hunt is responsible for overseeing the leasing for 1.5 million square feet of medical office buildings in Phoenix and Tucson. Previous roles with HTA include Director of Operations for the Southwest Region. In this role she focused on the day to day operations for a 3.9 million square-foot portfolio. Mrs. Hunt earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Real Estate Management and her Certified Property Manager designation.
Brooke Sutherland is Leasing Associate for Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. (“HTA”) and oversees leasing responsibilities for all of El Paso and two Dallas assets as part of the Texas Leasing Team. Ms. Sutherland joined HTA in May, 2017 and implemented several marketing programs to include significant lead generation for the DFW market. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas Tech University in May 2016.

Julia Ehret oversees the leasing platform for HTA’s medical offices assets on the East coast and Midwest totaling over 8.7 million square feet across 14 states. Her region includes key markets of Boston, New York, Pittsburgh, Hartford/New Haven, and Indianapolis. She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key healthcare systems and physician practices, new and renewal leasing, as well as sourcing acquisition and development opportunities. Julia joined the leasing team at HTA in March of 2013 and was promoted to her current role of Senior Vice President in June of 2017.
Prior to joining HTA, Julia worked for Cushman & Wakefield in Indianapolis. Julia holds a B.S. in Business from the Lacy School of Business at Butler University where she majored in International Business and Marketing. She serves as the Mentoring Committee Chair of IndyCREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) and serves on the Finance Counsel and various other programs at her parish St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Tim Craft is the Leasing Manager for HTA in the Midwest where he handles leasing for buildings in Greater Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Indiana; Detroit, Michigan; Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio; and St. Louis, Missouri. Tim came to HTA after 15 years in Brokeridge with CBRE:, Trammell Crow, and CRESA Partners. While in brokerage, he specialized in tenant representation of healthcare and corporate services clients. He represented varied clients such as the Federal Government, the largest health system in Indiana, Fortune 500 Companies, and various other businesses throughout Indiana and the Midwest.
Tim has been recognized in Indianapolis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, Junior Achievement’s Best and Brightest, and Crossroads of America’s Centennial Scouts.
While not in the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He also officiates high school and college football and rugby and is a Board Member for a youth sports organization.

Todd Sloan is Senior Vice President – East Region for Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. (“HTA”). Mr. Sloan is responsible for overseeing the leasing for 6.3 million square feet of medical office buildings located primarily in the Southeast and Florida. Mr. Sloan has been with HTA in various leasing roles since 2013 and is Broker in charge for Healthcare Management of America in multiple states including Georgia, South Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, & Pennsylvania. Prior to joining HTA Mr. Sloan was VP of Leasing & Sales for HealthAmerica Realty Group and has over 15 years’ experience specializing in medically related commercial real estate. Mr. Sloan holds a BS degree in history from the University of Georgia. Mr. Sloan lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and three children.
Alexa Slade is responsible for all new leasing in HTA’s Southeast portfolio consisting of 6 key states: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina comprised of 4 million square feet.
She works closely with key hospital systems and physician groups in each market to develop relationships, bring in new leases, solidify expansions and retain tenants. Alexa joined the HTA leasing team in July of 2014. She is a member of The Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and the Georgia Association of Realtors. Prior to joining HTA, Alexa worked for CBRE in the healthcare services occupier group. Alexa earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Virginia Tech and holds a Real Estate License in multiple states. Alexa resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband.

Tracy Wold is a Senior Leasing Associate for HTA’s Southeastern markets. Prior to joining HTA Ms. Wold worked for a retail REIT where she was responsible for the leasing throughout North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Alabama. She is a member of The Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, Georgia Biomedical, and Corenet. Ms. Wold holds a B.A. from the University of Tennessee and has her Real Estate License in the state of Georgia.

Andrew Nordhoff has been dedicated to leasing medical office space and building long-term relationships for over 11 years in markets ranging from the Midwest to the East Coast and currently in Florida. Mr. Nordhoff has been a member of the HTA team since July, 2011 and was part of the first in-house leasing team across the country. Prior to HTA, Mr. Nordhoff served as a Leasing Manager for another national medical office building owner where he oversaw all leasing functions for their Indianapolis portfolio. Mr. Nordhoff holds a B.S. in Public Affairs from Indiana University and, along with his family, is active in his church.

Maria C. Correa joined Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. in June 2013 as a Property Manager. In 2015 she was promoted to her current role of Senior Leasing Associate where she is primarily responsible for the leasing of our South Florida Portfolio. Maria is passionate about offering superior level of service to our tenants and clients. Maria C. Correa has over 20 years of experience in the property management and leasing field. Maria is very well rounded in various aspects of the real estate industry with a vast amount of experience in the commercial real estate and leasing know-how. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and also holds a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate license.
