Tenant Relations Coordinator

Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. (NYSE: HTA), the largest dedicated owner and operator of medical office buildings in the United States, is seeking a Tenant Relations Coordinator to join our team in our Scottsdale, AZ and Atlanta, GA offices.

The Tenant Relations Coordinator will assist with developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns with a focus on managing, retaining and expanding current and prospective tenant relationships. As an integral part of the marketing team, you will collaborate with Asset Management to execute a proactive, measurable, and effective marketing plan to increase tenant retention and identify new business leads.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Asset Management teams to understand specific market priorities and ensure marketing/leasing leads move efficiently through the pipeline
  • Generate new business leads through prospecting, lead generation, scheduling appointments and building relationships with potential tenants
  • Track, measure, and communicate lead generation results and seek to generate new business
  • Become an expert in the competitive environment and be able to communicate internally regarding competitive offerings
  • Maintain accurate and detailed field notes within Salesforce
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, promoting cross-functional collaboration in order to support Asset Management team
  • Perform administrative office duties as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with executives at all levels
  • Driven, team player motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes
  • Willingness to be flexible and work varied hours including on weekends and evenings when necessary is required
  • Must have excellent communication skills and maintain a professional image at all times
  • Must be outgoing, friendly, energetic, dependable, self-motivated, organized and detail oriented
  • Intermediate: Word, Excel. Microsoft Outlook
  • Must be willing to come in early and stay late when needed
  • Real Estate experience and/or license in applicable state preferred but not required
  • Able to work in fast paced environment with multiple departments
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
