Purpose of the Position:
This position is responsible for the regional oversight of a Commercial Medical Office Building portfolio in the Southwest Region to include Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico and surrounding areas. The primary role of the position is the implementation and general execution and oversight of the engineering staff and maintenance programs for the portfolio. The Regional Chief Engineer (RCE) is responsible for the coordination, communication and management for a staff of 20-25 local Building Maintenance Engineers and other contracted resources to ensure the proper efficient operation and maintenance of all properties and facilities within a specific market.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The RCE is responsible for providing the technical expertise and building systems knowledge required to direct all aspects of engineering related to the company’s real estate assets.
Requirements:
The position requires independent physical work, the ability to effectively supervise and direct others, to include training and completion of Corporate initiatives related to employee and property improvements.
