Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator

Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. (NYSE: HTA) is the largest owner/operator of medical office properties in the nation. Since 2006, the company has invested $7.5 billion in medical office buildings and other healthcare assets comprising more than 25.4 million square feet across 32 states.

We are seeking a talented marketing and graphic design coordinator to join our team! In collaboration with multiple departments, the marketing and graphic design coordinator will assist with developing creative marketing campaigns to promote all of HTA’s properties across the country.

The role also includes a marketing component, where the candidate will perform market research to identify market segments, competitive landscape, and positioning strategies. Interest and experience in commercial real estate is a plus but not required.


The ideal candidate must have experience in both graphic design and developing creative marketing collateral. Candidate will help create corporate and regional level marketing materials for both digital and print use. To be considered for the position you will need to provide samples of your work/portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and update marketing collateral as assigned including advertisements, brochures, floor plans, posters and building signage
  • Create compelling email marketing campaigns, ensuring the message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly
  • Perform market research and collaborate with team to maintain an understanding of current market trends
  • Track project status through Salesforce
  • Develop and maintain the integrity of the HTA brands, including logos, brand guidelines and business collateral
  • Create concepts and original designs for digital communications, including websites, online advertising, social media, as well as email marketing and e-publications.


  • B.A. in Graphic Design or Marketing with 3-5 years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
  • Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation in a PC environment
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret email campaign results. Ability to identify areas of improvement and provide feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous partnership with internal teams
  • Ability to follow creative direction and respond appropriately to creative feedback
  • Ability to work on projects individually as well as in a team setting across multiple departments
  • Excellent time and project management skills required, as you will be working on several projects at any given time.
