IT System Support Technician

General Duties and Responsibilities:

The IT System Support Technician provides staff with key support by assisting with software access, connection and navigation of the multiple systems used throughout the company. This position maintains access and change logs in accordance with corporate guidelines.  The IT System Support Technician assists end users with troubleshooting software errors encountered, and prepares and provides training and testing support as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming user requests through online ticket system
  • Create and maintain user access and permissions in various software products in accordance with company guidelines
  • Assist users with software connection issues and password resets
  • Develop and provide training on software programs used throughout the company
  • Assist users in maintaining SharePoint Sites and Applications
  • Make changes and updates to existing reports and workflows
  • Apply an understanding of best practices to assist users in problem solving software challenges

Minimum Training and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Helpdesk or Desktop software support
  • Basic knowledge of the following
    • User software support
    • General computer troubleshooting knowledge
    • Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in the following software is a plus:

  • MRI
  • SalesForce
  • AvidXchange A/P
  • Angus Anywhere
  • Chrome River Expense Reporting
  • SharePoint and/or SharePoint Designer
  • Nintex Forms and Workflows
