Leasing Manager

HTA is seeking a Leasing Manager. This position effectively manages and oversees all leasing responsibilities of medical office space within a regional portfolio across the Northeast. Candidate will be directly responsible for the overall leasing strategy of both new and renewal leases and will carry out the goals set by the Executive Management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading new and renewal lease negotiation and corresponding financial analysis
  • Establish key strategic relationships with healthcare systems and hospital systems
  • Oversee all leasing documentation, including but not limited to, leases, amendments, final lease submission packages
  • Professional interaction with tenants, brokers, hospital clients and organization’s senior management
  • Remain well informed of comparable properties, their pricing and competitive positions, to maximize occupancy and financial performance of company’s properties relative to the competition
  • Conduct property tours with potential tenants and brokers
  • Establish and maintain strong knowledge, awareness and understanding of the market’s dynamics. Exercise clear leadership and focus in such areas as market conditions, competitive activities and related matters.
  • Working within the local brokerage community to develop tenant prospects and to accumulate pertinent market data
  • Oversee the leasing related marketing materials, including but not limited to, brochures, flyers, stacking plans, floor plans
  • Implementation and oversight of various marketing strategies
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties/special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7 + years’ experience in medical and/or commercial office leasing (medical office leasing experience preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Real estate salesperson’s license and/or broker’s license
  • Lease negotiation experience
  • Highly motivated individual who can work with considerable independence.
  • Affiliation with commercial real estate and healthcare industry organizations
  • Extensive experience with cold calling and canvassing and/or physician recruitment
  • Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills
  • Above average technical proficiency (versed in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and CoStar)
  • Willingness to travel within region (up to 50% of time)
  • Developed interpersonal skills – comfortable working in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven marketing and creative prospecting tactics
